2BSvs Waste & Residues
The RED II directive establishes rules to ensure that energy from biomass (the biodegradable fraction of products, waste and residues of biological origin) is considered renewable.
Companies that process and recover this waste must therefore comply with these rules to ensure that their energy production is officially recognised as sustainable.
To meet these objectives, our association has developed the 2BSvs certification, based on the RED II directive.
