We are pleased to announce the publication of the new documents for 2BSXtra certification, which introduce improvements and additions designed to reinforce the traceability and transparency of raw material and product flows throughout the food & feed supply chain.
What’s new?
- ADD-ON module: from now on, detailed documents will help auditors verify compliance criteria, including a separate mass balance for food & feed flows, as well as indications on methods for calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The documents are enriched with a checklist to facilitate the audit process, providing customers with an overview of the elements audited.
- Version 2 / Stand Alone: this new version, to be released by the end of the year, will incorporate a GHG module, a revised standard and a detailed procedure to clarify compliance criteria. V2 will no longer refer to the 2BSvs certification documents under the Renewable Energy Directive, making it entirely stand-alone.
