Our webinar on our Esca methodology is now available for replay

Sustainability according to RED II is based on two pillars: sustainability criteria for raw materials and criteria for GHG (greenhouse gas) savings.

For GHGs, the RED proposes a calculation method to assess the savings in emissions of these gases. This formula incorporates the “ESCA” factor. This is used to quantify the greenhouse gas savings resulting from the accumulation of carbon in the soil through the implementation of improved agricultural practices.

In a context where sustainability and the reduction of GHG emissions are priorities, implementing the Esca methodology can help you add value to your products with reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
